Main functions:
- recording of tax revenues flowing to budget system;
- interaction with Federal Treasury with respect to incoming tax revenues;
- development, maintenance and control of internal tax statistics presented by subordinate tax authorities;
- monitoring, planning and forecasting of tax revenues, assessment of tax collection and economic indicators of taxpayer activity;
- assessment of FTS performance including territorial inspectorates.
