The participants discussed the statement agreed on October 8, 2021, by 137 members of the OECD/G20 BEPS Inclusive Framework on the implementation of the global tax reform and its impact on public and corporate governance.

Daniil Egorov noticed that during the implementation of the reform, closer attention should be paid to the clarification of the existing tax legislation and the establishment of a digital ecosystem for interaction with taxpayers that would be convenient for both business and state authorities.

This could be achieved by the electronic data interchange (EDI) implementation in the B2B and B2C sectors, which would significantly reduce business costs, particularly as a result of the tax compliance elimination. Tax payments can be made directly by the FTS of Russia. The Commissioner of the FTS of Russia stated that the EDI transition will ensure effective global tax administration and help to improve the corporate environment.

Pascal Saint-Amans, Director of the OECD's Centre for Tax Policy and Administration, and Robert Danon, Professor of the University of Lausanne, have also joined the meeting. The event was supported by the OECD, the European Commission, the World Bank, and numerous other international organizations and institutions.
