The Federal Tax Service of Russia held a seminar on transfer pricing for colleagues from the State Revenue Committee of the Republic of Armenia

The two-day seminar on pricing for tax purposes was held at the Interregional Inspectorate of the Federal Tax Service of Russia and the FTS Headquarters.

The discussion of transfer pricing issues was held within the framework of a round table in the FTS Headquarters with the participation of the Head of the Transfer Pricing Directorate, Alexandra Kadet. The parties considered the main aspects of transfer pricing, algorithms for identifying tax risks, and the use of information sources, including when analyzing commodity transactions.

During the meeting at the FTS Interregional Inspectorate for Transfer Pricing, the Armenian colleagues were presented with the experience of applying a risk-based approach in the analysis of controlled transactions. In addition, the inspectorate's officials spoke about the procedure for analyzing "routine" transactions as well as determining profitability for the purposes of transfer pricing.
