Representatives of the tax authorities of Russia and Belarus exchanged experience in implementing successful youth projects

In preparation for the celebration of Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War as well as the development of the agreements reached, the Youth Council of the Federal Tax Service of Russia held a meeting with representatives of the Ministry of Taxes and Duties of the Republic of Belarus in a video conference format. The parties discussed the participation of the branch committee of the public association "Belarusian Republican Youth Union" in the HR and youth initiatives of the Federal Tax Service of Russia.

Dmitry Mikhailov, Chairman of the Youth Council of the Federal Tax Service of Russia, spoke about the main activities of the Youth Council in the fields of career and personal development, military-patriotic education, charitable activities, social activities, and cultural work. At the moment, the FTS Headquarters and regional tax authorities have created more than 350 youth councils; such projects as Career Guidance and Tax Olympiad are being successfully implemented; a youth lecture course is organized; a scientific conference is planned; and a new charity project, The Sun Shines for Everyone, is being implemented. In addition, every year, representatives of the Youth Council, together with the Council of Veterans, personally congratulate veterans and participate in actions of the All-Russian public movement Volunteers of Victory.

Ilya Zhomnir, First Deputy Chairman of the Youth Council of the Federal Tax Service of Russia, shared with his Belarusian colleagues the experience of organizing the activities of the Coordinating Council of Youth Organizations of federal executive authorities within the framework of interdepartmental cooperation. Attention was also paid to the concept of developing a healthy lifestyle among tax officials and sports projects, whose development is supervised by the Deputy Chairman of the Youth Council of the Federal Tax Service of Russia, Kantemir Beslaneev.

Colleagues from the Ministry of Taxes and Duties of the Republic of Belarus expressed interest in the possibility of participating in the next project, Be Healthy, starting in honor of the 77th anniversary of victory in the Great Patriotic War. Last year, 3 thousand people participated in it, including employees of the FTS Headquarters and its regional authorities, as well as their family members. In total, they ran 210 thousand kilometers.

Representatives of the Ministry of Taxes and Duties of the Republic of Belarus, Ekaterina Erokh, Yulia Butko, and Larisa Vysotskaya, spoke about HR and youth initiatives carried out in the tax administration of their country: “Republican contest of professional skills," “Our children,” and “Republican ski track." Every year, they also hold military-patriotic events. Thus, the tradition of laying flowers at the Khatyn memorial complex on March 22 is alive.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to consider the possibility of participating in joint events and organizing meetings within the framework of the development of international cooperation between the tax administrations on an ongoing basis.
