A seminar on the implementation of automatic exchange of tax information in CIS countries was held in Moscow. The exchange is carried out electronically in automatic mode on an annual basis. It considers the information on the income and property of legal entities and individuals, including the amounts of taxes paid.

During the seminar, issues related to the use of the single cryptographic tool "Krypton-Ankad" by all participants in the exchange and the quality of the information provided were discussed. The experts also shared their experience using the information obtained in accordance with the protocol when conducting risk analysis and exchanged views on the prospects for improving the existing exchange.

In particular, the Federal Tax Service of Russia proposed to consider the possibility of organizing an exchange of information on the financial accounts of residents of the participating countries, similar to the OECD project on the automatic exchange of financial information (Common Reporting Standard, CRS).

The seminar was attended by the Executive Secretary of the CIS Executive Committee and representatives of the tax administrations of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan.
