Representatives of the Federal Tax Service of Russia and the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan discussed Prompt Account Unblocking Electronic Service at an expert meeting.

Maxim Romanov, Deputy Head of the Tax Debt Management Directorate of the FTS of Russia, informed us that in June this year, an Account Unblocking Assistance Center was launched. The Center’s functions include the consideration of electronic messages received from taxpayers through the Prompt Account Unblocking service, notification of the results of the consideration within one day, and interaction with the territorial tax authorities. More than 7.5 thousand taxpayers have already used the service; more than 70% of them are satisfied with it and are ready to recommend it.

Vyacheslav Kuznetsov and Valentina Pogadaeva, representatives of the Interactive Services Directorate of the FTS of Russia, presented a special account unblocking promotional page on the FTS of Russia website, which allows users to quickly navigate how to solve the problem of removing restrictions. They also demonstrated the capabilities of the Personal Accounts—legal entities and individual entrepreneurs that use this service can check out the decisions on operations suspension on their accounts and send an application for their cancellation to the relevant tax inspectorate in just a few clicks.
