At the second meeting of BRICS Working Group on HR-Practices in Tax Administration on August 15, 2024, representatives of the tax administrations of Russia, South Africa, United Arab Emirates, Brazil, Ethiopia, India and Iran discussed progress of the HR project.
It was decided that the main deliverable of the Working group would be an HR Guidance for tax authorities describing challenges and opportunities as well as policies, techniques and tools in relation to HR management life cycle in tax administration.
Participants of the meeting discussed the Scoping document of HR project, which defines the scope, deliverables and actions to be undertaken by the Working group in order to enhance HR capacity in BRICS tax authorities.
This Scoping document along with the Scoping documents for the other three Working Groups will constitute the Work Plan for the next year to be approved by BRICS Tax Commissioners at the meeting on September 26 in Moscow.
