On June 7-9, 2023, as part of the Russian Federation's presidency in the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), the exhibition "Eurasia - Our Home" was held at the Sirius Science and Art Park in Sochi.
At the 'Eurasia - Our Home' exhibition, an exposition was presented by the Federal Tax Service of Russia, together with JSC 'GNIVC'. The exposition was dedicated to international projects in digitalization of tax administration processes in Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Belarus, and Tajikistan. The exposition showcased the Analytical VAT Platform, the Online Cash Registers System, and a special digital tax regime for the self-employed.
Julia Shepeleva, Deputy Commissioner of the Federal Tax Service of Russia, held a meeting with Adilet Dubanaev, Deputy Chairman of the State Tax Service of the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic. During the meeting, they discussed the implementation of the Agreement on providing technological assistance in the maintenance of information systems of the Kyrgyz Republicimplemented within the first stage of cooperation, which was signed on March 29, 2023, in Bishkek.
In addition, Elisey Balta, Head of the International Cooperation and Capital Movement Control Directorate at the FTS of Russia, held a meeting with representatives from the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Cuba. During the meeting, the capabilities of the Online Cash Registers System was presented to the colleagues. The system provides real-time information on retail sales of goods and services from online cash registers, as well as monitoring the prices of vital and socially important goods in the country. The parties also discussed further cooperation between the tax authorities of Russia and Cuba in the field of digitalization of tax administration and experience exchange.
The exhibition was held at the Sirius Science and Art Park in Sochi, coinciding with the meetings of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council and the Council of CIS Heads of Governments, as part of the Russian Federation's chairmanship of the EAEU in 2023. The main aim was to present the projects on digitalization, industrial cooperation, transport, finance, tourism, energy, and food security that are being implemented by two or more EAEU countries on the Eurasian continent. The participants comprised of Russian organizations and government agencies, as well as business and government representatives from CIS and EAEU member states.
