Тhe Federal Tax Service (FTS) of Russia took part in an international event dedicated to the International Women’s Day, organized by the Department of Revenue of India within the BRICS Women in Tax Network.

As part of India’s BRICS chairmanship, enhancing opportunities and professional potential of women employees of the BRICS tax administrations remains a priority. The BRICS Women in Tax Network focuses on strengthening professional ties, sharing practices, and supporting initiatives that foster leadership competencies and build a sustainable professional environment that balances performance and employees’ well-being.

The event was held online and included several thematic sessions combining elements of a cultural program with practice-oriented presentations. Indian colleagues conducted a yoga master class and delivered a musical performance, creating an atmosphere of open professional dialogue and mutual support.

The focus of the event was also on psychological well-being and work-life balance. Representatives of the Federal Revenue of Brazil delivered a lecture titled ‘Human Mirrors in High-Responsibility Systems&Well-being’, addressing how the professional environment and interaction patterns influence employee resilience. South African Revenue Service presented a lecture on self-care practices for personal development, covering self-regulation and maintaining performance under high workload.

From Russian side, more than 100 female employees joined the sessions. In total, around 1,000 employees from BRICS tax administrations took part in the event. Participation of the FTS of Russia in such initiatives contributes to international cooperation and the exchange of best practices aimed at improving human capital management in civil service.
