Young specialists from the Federal Tax Service of Russia took part in a training program for young professionals of the BRICS tax authorities, organized by the Central Board of Direct Taxes in Nagpur as part of India’s BRICS Chairship in 2026. The event brought together young specialists from the tax authorities of Brazil, China, Ethiopia, India, Russia, South Africa and the United Arab Emirates and was aimed at developing professional competencies and exchanging practical experience.

The BRICS countries consistently strengthen cooperation in tax matters, with particular attention to supporting young professionals as a key resource for sustainable growth and long-term partnership.

As part of the program, Indian colleagues delivered training on transfer pricing and international taxation. Participants also discussed the United Nations Framework Convention on International Tax Cooperation and took part in the sessions of the BRICS Tax Youth Forum, during which they considered further development of BRICS tax cooperation from the perspective of young specialists.

The event served as a platform for professional exchange and discussion of current issues in tax cooperation. The participation of the Federal Tax Service of Russia in such initiatives helps strengthen professional ties among young specialists of the BRICS tax authorities and promotes practical cooperation on current items of the tax agenda.
