FTS of Russia Leadership to Speak at SPIEF 2026

The FTS of Russia will take part in the annual St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF 2026) from 3 to 5 June.

On June 3, the panel session “Business at Digital Crossroads: New Opportunities or Additional Costs?” will examine the impact of digitalization on Russian companies and individual entrepreneurs, as well as the opportunities and challenges associated with these processes. On June 4, the session “Tax System: Domestic Priorities and International Cooperation” will focus on priority areas for international tax cooperation, as well as the key challenges that should be addressed first as tax systems and economic realities continue to evolve. On June 5, the session “Tax Authorities: Creating a Business-Friendly Environment and Ensuring Transparency for the State” will focus on the most effective international tax initiatives and the role of feedback in building a client-centric tax system. Participants will also discuss how digital technologies are transforming tax administration and how to ensure a balance between the control and service functions of tax authorities in the current environment. How the indicators of the ESG rating affect the assessment of business reputation, what preferences the state has created for the rating’s leaders, and how regional laws supporting responsible business influence the investment climate — these and other issues will be discussed on June 5 at the panel session “Business Reputation: ESG Rating Developments and Best Practices in Government Support for Responsible Business”.
