On 24 June, the BRICS Young Tax Professionals Working Group held an online session on best practices in modern tax administration.

The meeting served as a platform for the exchange of practical experience among representatives of BRICS tax administrations. The discussion focused on approaches applied by national tax administrations in the context of digital service development, improved tax administration and enhanced interaction with taxpayers.

Presentations were delivered by representatives of Egypt, Brazil, Russia, India and South Africa. The participating countries presented selected practices and solutions used by their tax administrations as part of the modernisation of tax administration. This approach allowed participants to exchange applied solutions and identify areas of common professional interest for further cooperation within the Working Group.

The session formed part of the Working Group’s efforts to strengthen professional cooperation among young tax specialists from BRICS countries. This format supports the exchange of experience on current issues of tax administration and helps shape a practice-oriented agenda for further cooperation.
